MOKAGI is an open-source, self-hosted AI agent operating system. A single engine drives hundreds of named agents; you interact through the web, Telegram or WhatsApp, and you can let agents run scheduled work in the background.
Its design philosophy is you shape the personality, it expands your capability — agents accumulate memory and experience and gradually adapt to how you work.
The whole system lives in one folder (by default ~/.mok/):
agent/<name>/): each agent's soul files, workspace and logs.A classic assistant is one general-purpose bot. MOKAGI is a team: you can create a support agent, a marketing agent, an accounting agent, a translation agent — each with its own speciality and personality — and they can hand tasks to one another (handover / takeover) just like real colleagues.
